Biking Along Old Hwy 61
ike enthusiasts will love the route along Old Hwy 61. You can ride for over 100 miles primarily on trails. You will travel through quaint cities where you can find many hidden treasures that you do not see from the Interstate. Starting from the south is the Sunrise Prairie Trail which begins in the city of Wyoming. http://www.traillink.com/trail/sunrise-prairie-trail.aspx. As you travel on the trail you will find wild flowers and raspberries to pick and eat. The trail runs north for about 15 miles to North Branch.

This trail runs along Old Hwy 61 ending in Duluth Minnesota. You are sure to be tempted to stop at the many restaurants, parks and beautiful sites along the way. Before ending in Duluth, save some time to spend at the Jay Cooke Minnesota State Park, with breathtaking views. There are hotels, bed and breakfasts, and camp sites to stay at if you want to make the trip a two or three day adventure.
